"I would not be where I am today without the opportunities, training programmes and guidance received at every stage."

After a work placement at Degrémont, I joined Ondeo IS in 2002 on a temporary contract as a junior engineer, where I was involved in pilot testing.
This then developped into a permanent contract andin January 2004, I joined the Technical Operations Department, where I was in charge of process/maintenance support, security audits and various company-wide projects.
In 2006, I rejoined the engineering team as a commissioning engineer. This gave me a useful and solid technical grounding in the company's different activities as I covered every area of the business (from the initial design concept to the operations of the engineered solutions).
Since then, I have recently been promoted to Project Manager - Engineer, which is an exciting new challenges.
Over the years, Ondeo Industrial Solutions has continuously given me the opportunity to grow and learn by trying my hand at different areas in our core businesses while developing my career, from pilot testing to operations, and from commissioning to operational design.
I would not be where I am today without the opportunities, training programmes and guidance received at every stage throughout my career with Ondeo IS. When you want to progress within a company, you need to think about where you want to go or at least have an idea of what you want to do (sales executives and technical experts are completely different things). You also have to take an active interest in what is going on around you and learn more about what the company is doing, and not merely stick to your job description.
