Depending on the sludge disposal method, it might be interesting to consider drying as a technology to include in your treatment chain.

A dried sludge allows for better handling, better stability and the reduction of odours. It also allows sludge to be sanitised when higher drying temperatures are used. In the case of incineration, it allows to increase the calorific value: incineration (35-40% consistency), combined municipal waste incineration (65-95% consistency) and cement kiln use or for thermolysis/gasification (consistency >90%).
