Tarragona Power was born from the merger of two important power producers. It is located in the north of Spain and supplies electricity, steam, demineralised water as well as other utilities to the adjacent BASF chemical platform.

Tarragona has very high water needs because it must produce up to 165 m³/hour of demineralised water to the site. Its location, close to the sea, made it a perfect candidate for seawater desalination.

Our expertise and our large number of references in this field were key to winning the contract which called for the turnkey supply of design, engineering and start up of the RO and pre-treatment system.
